About Us
MADDIE’S HOPE is a nonprofit organization that was established in honor of Madelyn Dulle. Maddie was diagnosed in October 2003 with a rare form of childhood cancer called Pleural Pulmonary Blastoma. While the prognosis for PPB is not good, after 12 months of chemotherapy, radiation, several surgeries and lots of prayers, Maddie continued to be cancer free until June 17, 2007 when another tumor was discovered. She has since undergone 23 more rounds of radiation, 4 months of chemotherapy, and is currently recovering from her stem cell transplant.
The purpose of MADDIE’S HOPE is to raise money that will be used in various ways to help in the fight against cancer. Donations will be used for cancer research, programs and services for the children and their families while they are at Children’s Hospital. We also donate to various organizations that help in the fight against cancer. It is our hope to give something back to the hospital and everyone that has played such a vital part in Maddie’s fight against cancer.
